Commentary on the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act,
2002
Cliffe Dekker has published an Update to their Commentary on the
Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002. As well as providing a
comprehensive analysis of the Act and a number of regulations promulgated since
the Act was first published, the Update also considers key aspects of consumer
protection and cyber crime.
The Update covers the regulations published in respect of cryptography
and authentication service providers, as well as the alternate dispute
resolution procedure which has been set up to deal with domain name disputes in
the .co.za namespace.
