Representative experience

• Acting for the joint liquidators in the liquidation of Hyundai Motors in which the insolvent estates had debts in excess of R1billion in South Africa and R900 million in Botswana.
• Advising and acting for clients, including scheme proposors and scheme creditors, in respect of compromises with creditors in terms of section 311 of the Companies Act;
• Advising the Reserve Bank of an African country on the South African law pertaining to liquidations;
• Representing clients at insolvency enquiries.
