Career
Fahdia began her career as a Candidate Attorney at Brink Cohen Le Roux
Inc in 1999. She was promoted to Associate in 2001. In 2003, Fahdia held the
position of Senior Associate and in November 2004 was made a Director of Brink
Cohen Le Roux Inc. Fahdia joined Cliffe Dekker as a Director in 2005 and in
September 2008 became a Director of Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr.

Experience
- Assisted and represented the national operator in proceedings
instituted to ascertain the lawfulness of the withdrawal of the guidelines for
interconnection and facilities leasing by the Minister of Communications
- Advised and represented a multinational corporation in private
arbitration proceedings relating to a contractual breach for the procurement
and commissioning of a gas cooler in Zambia
- Advised and represented an airport company in an insurance claim in
the amount of approximately R11m
- Advised and represented a company in defending an action brought by
an individual alledging ill health and disability caused by exposure to noxious
gases and noxious substances in his work environment. The individual's action
was founded in both contract and delict
