Career
Natalie began her career as a Candidate Attorney in 2000 at Cliffe
Dekker. In 2002, Natalie was made an Associate and promoted to Senior Associate
in 2004. Natalie was made a Director in 2006 and in September 2008 became a
Director of Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr.

- Represented Ferro Industrial Products in securing competition
clearance for its acquisition of Spectrum Ceramics, a transaction which
required both a horizontal and vertical analysis
- Represented Defy in Franke Holdings acquisition of Defy
Appliances
- Represented Afrimat in successfully obtaining competition clearance
for a horizontal merger with competitor Malan's Quarries
- Represented Foodcorp in its acquisition of First Lifestyle
- Represented Foodcorp and obtained competition clearance for
Foodcorp's joint venture with Premier Fishing (despite it reducing the number
of competitors in the market from three to two)
- Represented Corobrik and obtained unconditional clearance for its
acquisition of a competitor, Middelwit Stene
- Represented Lonmin and advised on the competition implications of the
acquisition by Incwala Resources of 18.1% of Western Platinum and Eastern
Platinum from Impala Platinum valued at $554,4m. This transaction was awarded
the "Deal of the Year 2005" by Dealmakers
- Represented Franke Holdings in securing unconditional merger
clearance for Franke's acquisition of the second and third largest
manufacturers in the hot water geyser industry
- Represented Ampath, a national pathology laboratory, in successfully
obtaining merger clearance for its merger with the third largest player in the
pathology industry
- Represented Lufthansa in its merger with Swiss International Air
Lines
- Represented Net1 in relation to its merger with Prism
