In 2000 Eben he served his articles of clerkship at Jan S De Villiers and practiced as a professional assistant from 2002. In 2004 Eben moved to a software development company as their legal advisor and operations director until 2005 when he joined Cliffe Dekker as a senior Associate. Eben was appointed as a director of Cliffe Dekker in 2007.
