Career

Ruaan began his career at Genial Accounting in 2001. In 2003, Ruaan joined SARS as an Auditor in the Central Enforcement Unit and was promoted to Senior Auditor in the National Enforcement Unit in 2004. Ruaan joined Grant Thornton as a Tax Consultant in 2006 and was later promoted to Tax Consulting Manager. In July 2008 Ruaan joined Cliffe Dekker as a Tax Manager. In September 2008 Ruaan became a Tax Manager at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr.

HDip (Tax Law), University of Johannesburg
MCom SA and International Tax (currently registered), University of Johannesburg
