expanding telecommunications market. Cliffe Dekker's TMT unit has developed
considerable expertise in advising clients on regulatory compliance. We are
experienced in the drafting, preparation and negotiation of broadcasting and
broadcasting services agreements, interconnection and facilities leasing
agreements, hardware supply agreements, satellite service agreements, internet
hosting and service agreements, value added network service agreements, virtual
private network agreements, and standard terms and conditions for service
providers. We have handled and executed service provider applications to the
Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa).
Our technical understanding of the various communication protocols and
network applications is extensive and we are able to assist clients with
requirements peculiar to transmission technologies. We keep abreast of new
developments in the available technologies and have a client base that includes
operators from all of the technology platforms currently available in South
Africa.
